Yep. They have blocked me from making new bug reports because I dared to raise a couple of bug reports on tyre allocation and race strategies.
playing f1 manager now. Much more enjoyable and I have a feeling they will actually fix the bugs quickly and efficiently.

Yes, I think it's an absolute outrage what the community managers are doing to us.
But hear from everyone who plays F1 Manager 2022 it is much better than F1 22. What I just find funny. They get it better to program things. As a billion dollar company. And the best thing is F1 Manager 2022 is their first sports game.
I thought after F1 2021 it couldn't get any worse but as we all see F1 22 is just as much of a disaster.

If you do just a tiny bit of digging you'll find that F1 Manager 22 has plenty of bugs of its own, including actually plenty of complaints re. the effect (or lack of) of different tyre compounds. I'm also aware that thousands of PC players can't get the game to even open. Whether or not another game has problems doesn't really make any difference to whether issues with F1 22 should be addressed or not though.
Edit: F1 Manager 22 Tyre performance discussion for context: Wets performing better than Softs on a dry track (0mm) : F1Manager (reddit.com)
- 3 years ago@Ultrasonic_77 Very true, F1 Manager has some big problems that need addressing.
The difference is that within this first week (including early access) the devs already said they are investigating and working on fixes, mentioning the lack of tyre difference specifically, among the other issues.
What have we got here so far? - Ultrasonic_773 years agoHero

What have we got here so far?Only time will tell how support for F1 Manager 22 pans out. As for F1 22 there have obviously been multiple patches addressing some issues, but to get back on topic importantly not the one this thread is about.

@Ultrasonic_77I agree with you. I will trust F1 Manager support when they actually fix the problems of the game. But at least they didn't absolutely and utterly ignore us like CM/EA is doing right here.
Yes, there have been a few patches for F1 22 but, save from the AI straight line speed, in my personal opinion they mostly focused on minor things that didn't necessarily make the game "near unplayable" or that crippled HUGE parts of what the game should be about (like tyre strategy, the topic of this post) and often created more bugs than they solved, often of significant importance for a large slice of the playerbase (rev limiter after traction fix) and that took several other weeks to fix (for those bugs that have actually been fixed), while ignoring huge problems like the topic of this post and many other unrelated game breaking bugs.
This thread talks about an issue that basically halves the content of any race above 25% length, save from unrelated events like rain.
That being said, I have a tiny bit of experience working on Unreal Engine. Making some minor changes to the UI with some coding in the back-end to turn a soft set into a medium or adding one extra set is not that hard, especially if you're supposed to do that for a living.I also realize that there are consequences to changing a tyre, like AI training and other possible ramifications, but it would still be a starting point to make the game more enjoyable/realistic. And considering they haven't even given us one single reason for ignoring us, I don't feel like excusing them whatsoever.
If the engine they're using makes it hard to do is not a paying customer problem, and it's surely not an excuse for ignoring the issue and ignoring us like they're doing. It's simply unacceptable.
Last thing. I realize I used some strong terms in this post. I just want to specify that they're obviously not referred to you directly. Just ranting a bit and throwing my two cents out there. - 3 years ago
My main problem now is simply that the support here is a disaster. We are constantly ignored. They would rather ban us than communicate with us properly. Really so that makes really no more fun. Every time there are only problems with EA

I'm not going to respond to the last two posts here as this thread really should just focus on the specific tyre bug. The General Discussion section section would be the best place to talk about wider issues.

Yes, of course, I thought so too, but. The Commuinity managers have then quickly deleted the post 🙂

There should be at least something like: It will be done, we are working on it. But nothing. It is interesting if you try to post bug report: Help I can't buy pitcoins, you have 3 admins, 6 social managers responding to your bug. But here they are silent.

This has to be the most bizarre thing I've ever come across.
Someone's gone out of their way to create their own solution just to try and give us back some of the basic realism that we've always had in previous F1 games, with this mod: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/tyreswap-cheattable.53097/updates
I presume you guys are mostly aware of this? How crazy is it that we have to use cheats to give us back realism, in a game that now contains countless options to change the overall realism... blows my mind!

Here have made a new post, best all times what drunter write before it is deleted again. Have made extra screenshot as evidence. If I write then again longer nothing. Do you know that the community manager has banned again (:

Sadly this sort of 'fix' is no use to most players, who play on console. I play on PS5 myself so no, I wasn't aware of this.
- 3 years ago@Ultrasonic_77 Ah, yes, hadn't even thought of that. That's a great shame.
Personally, I'm too nervous to try this mod because I fear being banned in-game for using it, although I'm extremely tempted.
This is the awkward position we're put in when we're not communicated to properly - risking being banned from a game we've spent a lot of money on in an attempt to enjoy it in the way it should have meant to be enjoyed.
If we were told that the issue is being worked on I would just exercise some patience until the fix was available. But right now, with absolutely no information to go on, I don't know what to do. - 3 years ago@Ultrasonic_77 @GamerDH1995 EA should hire these guys 😉

I am using this tyreswap and it is not solution for 2 stops strategy (at least for 50% race). You have two sets of medium tyres for a race, one hard and some softs and still only one stop strategy for whole grid. Game developers should change tyre wear too.
- 3 years ago@Kuba_HB Apparently, the mod needs to be used alongside the 'Tyre Wear Mod' when attempting the 50% races or less. You can find it here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/tyre-wear-mod-more-strategies-for-25-and-50-races-2-stops-possible.52361/

I am just want to say, that only fix tyre alocation is not enough for two stops strategy.
