It's kinda sad they couldn't get this fixed this year, but I figured that would be the case early on
Luckily enough, as a offline PC driver I can mod it to work properly. This is not the case for the majority of the drivers though.
It should not take a mod to get rules correct in a F1 licensed game, and I hope they get things right next time (and maybe fix the wrong tracks too?? I hope).
- 3 years ago@Nylink The funny thing is, most of us aren't even asked for a perfect representation of the rules for the time being. Even just a return to last year's preset allocation would suffice. The "strategy" in this year's game is totally neutered.

It's actually quite astonishing that EA are actually refusing to fix this, which to me is a game breaking bug. There's no way I can run a 50% league with the limited tyres choices available now. Basically makes you pick Med>Hard or Med>Soft>Soft or a variation of, for EVERY race. Talk about unrealistic! It's bad enough that the SC is still fubar. I'm done with this franchise. Bought the game every year for I don't know how many years, no more.

It's not EA, its codemasters. The dev team arent good enough to be able to fix this issue. And I think if they did it would create another 5000 bugs. This is just what they do, every year, every game. They NEED to get rid of EGO4 as the game engine. It is 8 years old. Please get over it, it doesnt work. Start from scratch and give us a new game built from the ground up, stop being lazy. You owe it to everyone that has bought F1 20, 21 and 22.
