@Kuba_HB Single player is rectified. You can run a 2 stop soft medium medium, medium medium hard, or medium hard hard depending on which Tyre distribution choice you pick. The 1 stop soft hard, or medium hard are still available as is any variation of a 3 stop strategy.
Also, 2 stop soft soft medium is still a possibility, but as before, only on circuits that aren’t overly heavy on tyre wear though.
Only downside is, the Tyre distribution options are only available in a new career, or at the end of a season from a current career save. Also, it doesn’t appear to be active in 25 and 50% online Lobby’s (yet, as it’s likely it will be in multiplayer in one of the next patches). However it is available in a custom social race lobby at 100% distance.
I have no doubt that the latest update a fix will improve strategies and the game in general.

@gusticlescauk Unfortunately I think I found a bug with the tyre allocation past the first race of a new season/new career. The allocation you choose in the first race gets set as "fixed" for every race afterwards.
So that means you get the same tyre allocation strategy from race #1 for every single Grand Prix in that season (don't know how it will work with Sprint weekends yet).
- Rapheal6293 years agoNew Scout@diogosilvaF1 Glad I wasn’t going crazy, I started a new save just to get the flexible tyre choice, did Bahrain, loaded up Australia and… it’s broken, the next race’s tyre allocation is locked out due to the 2022 regs, complete nonsense, have the devs watched the races with differing tyre strategies or not because I’d like the option each race to modify my allocation🙄 hot fix required here I think, EA please investigate this, I think disabling the check on the 2022 tyre regs might rectify this, but it’s like first race, fixed and you can change the allocation then suddenly you’re back to pre patch for the rest of the season, it needs looking at again. I dunno how the Ego engine works, but I’d hope it’s fixable

@Rapheal629 And what settings did you chose for Barhain, balanced? And were there 2 stop strategies?
- Rapheal6293 years agoNew Scout@Kuba_HB I haven’t tested the other settings, only balanced, there wasn’t two stop, they did M-H. Went to race #2 and tried to change it to a different allocation and it said the same as pre-1.15 “tyres are locked in accordance to FIA 2022 World Championship”, so it’s done one race with free roam of options, but it gets reset for the rest of the season. The patch notes are incorrect in this regard.

@Rapheal629 So for race two it was not locked for balanced what you chose for first race, but locked like before patch 1.15 (only one medium compound for the race)? Is it joke? 🙂
- Rapheal6293 years agoNew Scout@Kuba_HB Ok I began a new career save and I could choose the first race’s allocation, finished that race and the next one tyre allocation was locked to the setting on race 1 and I couldn’t choose any other option so it’s not working as expected
