ws-118728-7

Click on the South Beach option in the game, and the ws-118728-7 error message pops up. Is it still full of problems until the end of the game?

That is a fairly rare error code. Try booting in Safe Mode and choosing Option 5, Rebuild Database:

Also power cycle your router as this may be a connectivity issue.
