Unrealistic curb behavior in wet conditions in F1 25
Hi,
I would like to report two issues related to wet-weather behavior in F1 25 that could be improved to provide a more realistic experience:
Curb behavior in the rain:
Currently, when driving over curbs during rainy conditions, the car shows no noticeable loss of grip and behaves similarly to dry conditions. In real-life racing, wet curbs are extremely slippery and can easily cause loss of traction, understeer, or even a spin, especially when touched during cornering or acceleration. Adding this kind of surface sensitivity to curbs under wet conditions would significantly enhance realism and challenge.
AI tire performance in the rain:
Another issue is that AI drivers maintain a very high pace in wet conditions even when using dry tires. In one case during a 10-lap wet race, an AI car running on slicks was able to keep up with another AI car on full wet tires, without any clear performance drop or difficulty. Additionally, the AI tends to delay pit stops far too long before switching to appropriate wet-weather tires, which doesn't reflect real-life strategy or limitations. The performance of cars on dry tires in wet conditions should be significantly lower to reflect loss of grip and the risk of aquaplaning.
I hope these points can be taken into account to improve the realism of wet-weather racing in future updates.
Thank you for your attention and for the great work on the game.
