Improvement for GP mode

I'm a fairly casual gamer, I only play the GP mode for fun, and I'd like to suggest some changes that I think would improve the experience for all casual players.

I previously suggested the possibility of switching drivers during a race throughout a season, to add some variety to the championship, but I was told that this would significantly disrupt the AI's functionality, so I came up with a new idea.

While playing F1 2006 on PS2, I noticed that it allows you to create your own starting grid before a race, so I thought, "they could add that to the new F1 game that's coming, with a slight change."

Giving the option to choose any driver and change the starting grid (if desired) after qualifying, recreating a grid that may have even happened in real life, would offer countless possibilities, making the GP mode even more exciting.

I believe this would benefit players like me, who prefer to play alone and have fun however they want. I know that 90% of players prefer online competition, but it would be nice to benefit players who enjoy offline mode.
