What happens when the bug occurs? only FC 25 has this issue i have tried other games including FC 24 and not having this issue. the issue i'm having is, i have astro A40 TR mixamp, and once FC 25 loads, it for some reason, the game mutes my voice audio. so when talking to friends on discord, having the game audio set to my pro game setting and voice call set to pro voice setting on my mixamp, FC25 shuts off the voice audio from my head set. where i can no longer hear anyone talk until i close the game. and like i said this only happens with FC 25 and no other game.
What should be happening instead? FC 25 should not be muting my pro voice audio on my headset.

the Issue is FC25, once the game loads to the main menu, when i use my Astro A40tr headset mixamp, the audio to the voice channel of my headset mutes. so when talking to friends before i load the game i can hear and talk to them, as soo as the game loads they can still hear me, but i can no longer hear them until i quit and close the game. and it only happens with FC 25 as i played FC24 and never had this issue.

  • Found the issue and the fix. when the game loads it was forcing my Pro voice audio as a input device, and it switched it back normal when closed.
    (fix - Windows 11)
open sound settings - All sound devices - input devices - select the Pro voice device - change to do not use (under make default) - select correct mic - Make default.

    1. Press Win+G

    2. Under Audio, click on Voice tab

    3. Change the "Default Communications Input" to something other than your headset's microphone

The audio should become normal after that instead being very loud.
