Broken Toe injuries - career mode

Product: EA SPORTS FC 25
Platform:PlayStation 5
Please specify your platform model. Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
What is your Gamertag/PSN ID/Switch ID?
Which mode has this happened in? Career Mode
Which part of the mode? Manager Career
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a career mode
What happens when the bug occurs? Every season I’m losing 4-5 top players for 3 months at a time to a broken toe. It’s completely unrealistic and annoying to have so many players out for so long.
What should be happening instead? The incidence of broken toe injuries needs to be reduced.

  • There is a setting which reduces the chances of your players picking up injuries, just adjust that mate.

  • It's not about that though is it? you expect the injuries that occur to be varied of both type and how long the player will be out for. it's completely fine for 4 or 5 of your top players to be injured throughout a season, but when everyone keeps breaking their toe over and over it's clearly a bug. A bug that has been in many previous instalments which is crazy.

Yep that’s it exactly. I don’t mind injuries but I’m in season 4 and so far have had about 10-12 broken toe injuries with a 3 month layoff every single time, and a smaller number of bruised shoulder injuries lasting 5 days every time. Not a single other type of injury. It’s as if the engine can only process physical challenge on ground=broken toe, and nasty fall from aerial challenge=bruised shoulder. No players have got injured in training once.

Unfortunately although editing the injury frequency slider would at least address the annoying broken toes, there’s no way to tweak the simulation settings without resetting every single slider to 50 and then manually altering them all back to the simulation setting, which is a lot of work to address a bug which could/should be addressed by the developers.
