Bug in FC25 Career Mode – Duplicate Player Surnames in Ukrainian Scouting

Product: EA SPORTS FC 25
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Please specify your platform model. Sony PlayStation 4 Pro
What is your Gamertag/PSN ID/Switch ID? dimablacker
Which mode has this happened in? Career Mode
Which part of the mode? Manager Career
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? To find this bug, enter Career Mode in FC25 and send a scout to Ukraine to search for young players. The players generated by the scouting report will all have the same surnames: Kovalenko, Shevchuk, or Shevchenko.
What happens when the bug occurs? When the bug occurs, every player found in the scouting report has one of these three surnames, which is unrealistic and makes it hard to distinguish players from one another.
What should be happening instead? There should be a diverse range of surnames, reflecting the variety of real-life Ukrainian surnames, making it easier to differentiate between players.

Hello,

In FC25 Career Mode, when sending a scout to search for young players in Ukraine, all the players found have the same surnames: Kovalenko, Shevchuk, and Shevchenko. It's odd that all the players share just these few surnames, which makes it difficult to differentiate between them.

Could you please fix this bug? It was also present in the previous version, FC24.

Thank you for your attention.

Best regards,

Dmytro

  • Hi everyone,

I'm writing to follow up on the issue I reported regarding repetitive surnames in Ukrainian scouting reports in FC25 Career Mode.

I'm happy to announce that the bug seems to have been fixed! I've been playing the game recently and have noticed a much more diverse range of surnames among the young players discovered through scouting. This is a great improvement and makes the experience more realistic.

Thank you to the EA SPORTS team for addressing this issue. Keep up the great work!

    Best regards,

    Dmytro
