Cannot use controller in Rush

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The Xbox Series controller now seems to work great throughout the game, except when I launch the "we play possession" Rush mode. The moment it starts I cannot use the controller except to leave the match and use the menu. Player is unresponsive.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot control my player except through the keyboard. I also don't get the inactivity penalty though I'm not doing anything at all.
What should be happening instead? ...

This is still going on. Personally, I don't care, as I can just do something else and farm the points. It's not my fault it's unplayable. But you are wasting 7 other people's time. I personally hate it when someone is inactive and you're playing 3 vs 4.
EDIT: seems fixed now.
