Can't change starting squads after transfering players

got exactly the same problem on PC and resetting squads doesn't do anything

OK GUYS I FOUND A FIX MAYBE? what i did was to just: reset squads -> delete all my squad -> reset squads again -> download squad updates !! for now it works but i'm gonna try transfering players again AFTER MAKING SURE NONE OF THE PLAYERS I TRANSFER OUT OF A CLUB HAVE ANY ASSIGNMENTS IN TEAM SQUADS 

I did that as well. But with one team at some point the game crashed again when I was about to change the tactics.

And you have to be very careful, you have to check every time if you transfer one player.

In my case where I transfer and edit hundreds of player it is too risky. Also it is just trying to avoid the bug. It needs to be fixed.

Same issue. And when using a team with transfer players in play now, you can't exit the roster screen at halftime so there's no way to finish a game.

I found sort of a workaround. If you import another club's team sheet, you can edit that one.

If you turn the game off and on all your custom settings are gone again. Default line-ups with 0 rated players are being shown in the kickoff- and main menu. 70 euro down the drain.

Hey, does anyone know if there's an expected fix for this bug? It's such a terrible bug! Every time, I have to set up all the lineups and make sure no player is assigned any role within their team.

And it took me so long to figure out this bug... It's so frustrating.

At least I know I'm not alone in this..

My current solution for the BUG:

1. Make sure the player I want to transfer doesn’t have any role in the team (captain, free-kick taker, corner kicker, etc.).

From what I’ve noticed, this bug occurs because the player I transferred out of the team still retains a role within the original team.

For example, if I transfer Robert Lewandowski from Barcelona to another team, he will still remain the penalty taker for Barcelona—even though he’s no longer on the team. As a result, it becomes impossible to adjust the lineup, and sometimes the game even crashes. (By the way, if you transfer him back to the original team, you can change the lineup again.)

Another issue is that every time the console is turned off, the role assignments aren’t saved, and they revert to the original players. So even if I remove Lewandowski from all roles and then transfer him (in which case everything works fine), after turning off the console, he automatically regains his role in Barcelona, and the bug returns.

That’s why my solution also includes the second step

I’m one who likes to edit squads and try to predict future transfers then play the game. Unfortunately you can’t do this on this game. 
The moment you turn the game of and then the game back on if you go to the Team management pages in the edit menu all the changes to the formations of teams and the players you had selected will all have changed and now you will no longer be able to move those players and swap those players around it’s like they are frozen and that formation is then froze! Very sloppy bug to have in a game you ask me.
