Career Mode freezing screen

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. When in a game and entering team management, sometimes, when I press on two players to swap, the players won't swap and I become unable to exit from the menu or press any buttons with resulting actions, thus requiring a restart. 2. When in any press conference, if I move my left stick in a direction too early (before the option boxes show up), then I become unable to get a response when moving my left stick and the screen becomes unresponsive to anything and I lose progress.
What happens when the bug occurs? Causes the screen to freeze and I cannot press anything. I end up losing progress and becomes very frustrating.
What should be happening instead? In the press conference, the options should still show up and i should be able to press one (or at least exit out of it). And in team management, I should actually be able to make substitutions (or at least exit out of the team management menu without restarting fc)
