Career Mode International Management Bug

EA really should separate the women’s and men’s career! And not because its male or female but there are too many bugs with it. Youth players look like girls in men’s career, the national team bug or women transfer to men’s clubs….thats really bad!!! EA can’t program that right!

Currently (as of Nov 17, 2024) the game also mixes up the men's "Rest of World" with the women's "Rest of World", so men's teams from Czechia, Poland, etc, show up in the Women's Champions League.

I'm guessing there are mix ups with names in the code. Maybe it doesn't understand the difference between the two types of "International" and two types of "Rest of World"?

Same. Got offer by my favorite country as Men’s international manager, accepted the offer and finding myself managing women’s team so I resign as manager. It just keep happening when other country offer you to be Men’s international coach.

Will this be fix?

Exactly the same for me too. Really hope they fix it soon 😞

Fix this abomination! It is an absolute disgrace. 

I work in software myself and this is purely down to lack of care/interest by the project managers/product owners because we career mode players do not generate revenue. Otherwise it is sheer diabolical incompetence on the part of your developers. I’d like to a assume its the former rather than the latter otherwise the game is an update away from figuratively crumbling to the ground. Scratch away the shiny aesthetic exterior and you are left with a shambles of a game. I stopped buying FIFA a few years back because of this. Took a hiatus for a few years, dont tend to game much as I dont have time for it. However I feel like I’m at work jotting down the endless list of defects I find. Hardly the switch off I’m looking for and have paid £60 for the pleasure.

It has so much potential and really would not require much work (although I haven’t seen the backend source code, which is likely cobbled together with prit-stick), throw a bit of your abhorrently large profit at a small refinement project for offline aspects of the game and restore it to its former glory. Sadly this’ll fall on deaf ears as always. Such a sorry state of affairs from the 00’s or even FIFA 10-14. Ultimate team has ruined the game and culture. The underlying theme here is greed and basically “f*** you, pay me” to ea’s customer base.
