I have this issue too on Xbox series, also won't allow me to put them in on the web app and companion app as it says "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again." Even though my player is eligible. It's just bug after bug and it's ruining the game, please fix this soon.

I believe the issue has been there since the cannon evolution has been released. I haven't been able to put my already evolved player into it even though he's eligible.

I have the same issue with Jacobo, this needs to be fixed as I've used 2 evos already on this player and it would be a waste without using him in the cannon too.

I had this issue first occur Monday 07/10/24 at 20:00 GMT. It continues to occur every time I attempt to put my 78 Miller Thompson, that has already been through the 'Glow up' evo, through 'the Canon' evo.
Regarding any further details they are identical to those of the original poster - Milkomania97.
My most recent attempt was Tuesday 08/10/24 at 19:40 GMT.

Been trying for past 3 days with the same player still not working👎 (10th October)
What a strange response?? It's happening 24/7?? It's impossible for us to put our players into the evo's 24/7?? Even on the web app it says the evo needs the player to have max 2* skills which is incorrect and breaks it also.
I have the same problem I give you the information you ask. Name of the player: Andres Martinez. Timestamp: date: 16/10/24 time: 21:15 Timezone: Santiago de Chile timezone. Here is the screenshot

There is no timestamp necessary.
I can say 2am or I can say 4pm, the issue is persistent, 24/7, all day, every day.

I never seen anything like this, proper company who cares about the game and people who are playing it would fix this asap..
Give us what we want, no compesation would make this right that is why people are doing EVO's for fun, that is only good aspect to the game EA introtuced since FIFA 20
