Manager Career - Won the game by penalty shootout but I got eliminated

When you say "jump in", do you mean you simulated the match up until the penalty shootout? In my experience, if I simulate any part of the match, there is a chance the game won't register the correct results, stats, or objectives. Things like this have been a problem for many years. I don't trust the sim/highlight features anymore.

@xtrxvxrx Yes, I was simulating the game in tactical view and when 120' ended 0-0 I decided to jump in and take the penalties myself and won the game but in the end it shows as if I lost. I had this objective to win the French Cup but failed because of that and it had a huge negative impact on board expectations of course. I didn't know this issue existed but this really got me so upset.
