Just in case anyone’s tracking this bug report, I’ve just tested on PS5 and it appears that from the most recent Live Start Points date the scanned faces now appear.
I also tested choosing an older date as the live start point and the faces don’t appear which I’d still say shouldn’t be the case but at least we can start new career modes from the most recent Live Start Point date now.
Going to post separately about this but: LSP has another big issue. Non-user-controlled teams do not renew any expiring contracts in year one. All expiring contracts are allowed to expire. I'm in season 2 and TAA, Salah, VVD, Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, Joshua Kimmich, etc. are all free agents.
