On PS5 the ‘R2’ button does not open the substitution options, instead it responds to the ‘UP’ direction on the ‘D’ pad. So that’s a related bug on the subs & tactics problem for the main issue of tactics being completely missing/unavailable when playing as or controlling the away team.

As from bug description, it is not possible to change in-game tactics with d-pad when selecting the AWAY team

How on earth has this not been fixed yet. The game has been out 1/12th of its life before EA FC 26 comes out and they still haven't dealt with bugs that shouldn't even have made it into the finale game. Are they ever going to address this? And this one here isn't even the worst bug in the entire game. It feels like the most unfinished game they've ever published.

This product is really too complex in comparison with previous releases to make such project just in one year.
I suggest EA to move this product to 2-year release cycle at least. FC26, for example should be just a small update of squads and other things. Just to avoid too big amount of bugs in release.
List of bugs just for single TU3 really are too big to read 🙂
That is not just fixes of unintended mistakes. It looks and feels like we participating in beta test right now for our money...

Nope.
We all waiting Title Update #4 (probably on Monday) and expecting they to address this obvious bug which prevents us from enjoying this much-hyped tactic.
