PC - Serious Input Lag / Input Delay on Online FUT Game Modes

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing any online PvP game mode on Ultimate Team. This bug does not occur in 'offline' game modes
What happens when the bug occurs? Controller input lag/delay of around 500-800ms on every in-game action. Menus are unaffected, only player actions such as movement, passing, player switching etc.
What should be happening instead? No input lag/delay, like in 'offline' game modes
A few days ago, I began getting serious input lag/delay when playing online game modes on Ultimate Team. This only occurs in online game modes, and affects all gameplay inputs apart from menus and quick actions.
