I’m experiencing the exact same issue. I can't play a complete match in Ultimate Team or maybe complete one—if I’m lucky—before I get a black screen, and then my PC goes on black screen and then exists from the game, sometimes I will still hear the staduim and audio going while the screen is frozen and then crashes..
System Specs:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core, 4.50 GHz
- RAM: 16.0 GB
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti
I don’t encounter any problems with other games. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Adjusted settings multiple times in the Nvidia Control Panel
- Updated BIOS
- Reinstalled GPU drivers both manually and using the express option
- Repaired game files multiple times via the EA launcher
- Forced compatibility mode
Despite all this, nothing has worked. EA support only advises reinstalling or repairing game files, which hasn’t helped.
It’s surprising there’s no clear solution, especially with so many people reporting this issue
IT was working that I would go to the web app, delete the formation and create a new one, and it will let me play for hours like normal, no crashes, as of lately that is not working no more
