Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You can't but I know it's not my sons ps5
What happens when the bug occurs? When the online game loads and its about to kick off the fans speed up on the ps5 and then a message pops up to say it's too hot but it's not I have had the ps5 cleaned and checked by a technician I have also fitted extra fans on the back but it still happens it doesn't happen on any other AAA games just EAFC25 online
What should be happening instead? Not shutting down when the ps5 is not hot
This does not happen with any other game and I have had the console looked at and cleaned and fitted extra fans on the back to try and stop it from happening so my son can play his £90 game
We have also deleted and reinstalled the game but it still happens
I had the issue of over heating on FC24 and cleaned everything along with standing up/ lying down extra fan .....turning down the resolution, etc..
I bought FC25 today watched the first video with Zidane and then pressed start game it overheated within 10 seconds and turned off.
As this happens with no other games I can only presume and is a fresh game with no saves, history then it must be something that EA has not fixed despite knowing from feedback on the last 2 games.
I will have to switch to another football game despite loving FIFA/FC. It will be returned tomorrow and I hope that when EA get the message when millions of people return the game as unusable. If this game is causing overheating and damaging thousand of consoles or at the very least shortening the life of a PS5 through heat damage then what will they do ?
I have just done a full reboot to wipe everything along with a full strip down and clean for the second time , This made no difference and the Playstation shut down within 8 seconds of trying to start the game. This is happening to hundreds of people...but not all.
Whenever I go to the evolution tab on ultimate team, suddenly my ps5 hard crashes each and every time.
Anyone else having the same issue or finding a solution to avoid this problem? Man FC24 didn't have this many issues like FC25 is currently having.
Update.....returned the PS5 version and switched to the PS4 version but playing on a PS5......no issues at all.
Overheating, it's in the game!
Just gonna bump this because lots of people continue to report it and EA won't acknowledge it. It's not my console, I'm a former electronics repair tech and I have thoroughly cleaned my console. It only happens with FC 25, and I have played many other AAA titles for hours on end with no issues.
If this happens to you, try cleaning your console. But if you're like most of us it won't help. Don't pull your hair out. You'll find threads about this in lots of places. It's just one more of the innumerable things that should work with this game but don't. Just try to remember that EA is a tiny indie developer, and that FC is a vanity project that barely struggles to break even. They cannot be expected to provide you with the basic functionality you paid for. They have points to sell and employees to lay off!
Will they fix this as as I really wanna play but it overheats and just shuts off
