ps4 controller not working in rivals/rush

It's very frustrating that i can only play offline modes and squad battles in UT, because whenever a Rivals or Rush match starts my controller all of a sudden stops working. I even tried with the Ds4 app to fix this problem but the ea anticheat blocks it so i am stuck with only playing Squad battles. First year on PC and this game already isnt working and has a lot of bugs, nice work EA. Please if someone can help me i would like it, thanks!
