my ea connect page opens

Mine does that too. I have to close the game and restart it.. but if I'm in match and it does it.. no sprinting.
I was playing a squad battles game and every time I pressed R2 to sprint it brought up the invite friends section found on the main menu, which I would then have to go back and my player would freeze. This cost me the game as anytime I tried to sprint I lost the ball - as well as not being able to utilise sprint in attack or defence. Cost me my points on squad battles

Hey there, can I please confirm if you use CUSTOM or CLASSIC settings for your controller? Can you swap between those two in the game and see if that makes any difference?
Same problem everything i press R2 it opens the EA connect menu in PS5. Its really imposible to play, witch is really sad beacause i wanna do all the games for division, squad battles etc.....at this weekend.
Even if I open a 7.5k pack i have to press like 20times R2 befor i can move the players away from the screen.
This is still happening!!!!!

- @daynay Closing the game and reopening it worked then so that r2 search doesn’t show up in game. But it’s not a great solution. Needs patching by ea.
I tried both closing the current football/soccer match and even rebooting the PS5. Neither work. Game is unplayable. Need help.
