Same exact thing happened to me yesterday ever since I bought a Saka and now I can’t play rivals or fut champs, I receive the exact same message "there was an error communicating with the football ultimate Team servers. Please try again" and takes me out of ultimate team. It is the first weekend of ultimate team and I do not want to miss out please help!
I saw the same behavior in some other posts. This is what I did to discover which card was triggering the error:
1. Started a SBC
2. Added a few cards that I suspected that could have a problem
3. Tried to go back to the SBC menu
In case you see an error, one of the cards is bugged. in this case, I started to do the SBC with the same cards, but excluding a few until one is left.
In case you don't see any error when trying to go back, you can clear the squad and add a bunch of new cards.
I know this sucks, but EA won't be fixing this soon 😢
