Red card glitch won’t allow me to play or change my squad

What happens when the bug occurs? I got a red card in rivals and now everytime I try and take the red carded emre can out of the squad and try go into another game I get a message that says “There was an error communicating with the Football ultimate team servers. Please try again” this message comes up even when I’m on club just trying to change my team and any game. Mode that involves my full eleven players.
What should be happening instead? I should be loading into a rivals game

- @Uniman135 I solved my issue. What i did was the following:
I cleared my squad created a new one with the red card players on the subs(not the bench). Played one game and when the card was removed everything came back to normal.
