Same situation here, it happens with one specific player, and as soon is moved towards the squad it disconnects the game as it claims there has been an issue with Ultimate Team.
Tried the same over the webapp and the mobile app and reports pretty much similar error.
Over the webapp the error claims to be "These players cannot be moved because of a previously disconnected gameplay session. Please log back into your console and back out of Ultimate Team to the main FC menu." this is not the case as was able to login back and even inside the game the error keeps happening.
Clearly a bug with the player / session, as many others have also reported that is not even possible to quick sell to try to recover it or simiar.
Hopefully this get's patched soon.
