Stuck on team management - Game Freezes on Substitution Screen in Career Mode.

Which mode has this happened in? Career Mode
Which part of the mode? Manager Career
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I choose "Tactical View" or "Sim Match" then when I go to team management, I can't exit it. The B button works because it deselects a player when I select him. I wish I could explain further but it's that simple. And it started happening every single time after the latest patch. The only way to overcome this is by force restarting the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot leave team management screen until I force close it.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to resume the match

Launch the game.
Open an existing save (started before the latest patch).
Advance to match day.
Choose Tactical View or Sim Match.
At any point in the match go to Team Management.
Do any changes (or don't).
Try to go back but I'm stuck.
Restart the game.
Repeat.

@OsamaIslam I had a hunch it might be the old save file which was created before the patch (created on launch day). So I went to customize and saved in a new slot. It works.

@OsamaIslam I Play on Ps5 Pro and i have the same Problem. You can fix the bug by changing the formation and then you can switch again.

However, the bug goes even further... there are sometimes players on the pitch who you haven't substituted at all. That's just embarrassing, sorry.

Same problem at PS5 and no solution, unfortunately have to close the game everytime and it’s getting frustrating now because I experience it every time now.

  Yeah, no, it's not solved. It happened to me about 12 hours ago, and then again about 5 minutes ago.
  
  Absolutely absurd that the game keeps getting more and more expensive every year when they can't even put out a functional game.
  
  Cool new features....would be great if I could actually play the game and enjoy them -_-
