Stuck on team management - Game Freezes on Substitution Screen in Career Mode.

So when attempting to make a substitution during a match in manager mode, be it either in sim match view or actually playing the game itself. Going into the team management screen and attempting to make a substitution won't work, you can highlight a player and then click on another player who you want to replace them with and it'll just cancel it out and then when you attempt to back out to the menu again you become stuck, unable to make any subs or even continue playing, leaving you to be forced to close down the game.
