I deleted every file I could in the game, deleted the game, and redownloaded it. I went directly to start a manager career, used updated roster, selected an existing manager and team. Skipped to the first game, started it, made a sub about a minute in, then after he went in I tried to make another sub. Players wouldn't switch spots and I couldn't exit the subs menu.
You would think that fixing this would be a priority for EA. I guess not.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? EAFC25 (X-Box): Stuck on substitution screen during pause in manager mode also substitutions during the match. In the match in career mode go make substitutions at the halftime or during the match and the bug should appear
What happens when the bug occurs? The screen is stuck in substitutions screen and the changes are not being made and you can't escape the menu.
What should be happening instead? The changes should be made and you should be able to escape the menu

I'm having the same issue. Nearly every game, during in game substitutions. I can't make the subs, or get out of the Team Management menu. Very frustrating as I have to exit the game completely and have lost any career/game progress to that point.

of course it isn't, manager career doesn't make them any extra money lmfao thank god I didn't pay for this awful game cause it's always the same thing with EA
