2. If that doesn’t work, delete your active squad and assign a new active squad, then try again.

Im having the same issue on ps5 with silver portugese manager. Cant start a game and continues to ask me to apply a manager in the bottomn right 😂

Hi. I've got the same problem, but with a different manager: P. Rahmen from Switzerland. Tried it with two different items, bought both from the transfer market. Error last occured on December 12, 14:51 CET. I am playing on PC.
Same for me with polish managers
