The cup matchmaking is bugged. I played 7-17 and I’m in Division 3 – so tell me that this system is working: 70% unbeatable, 20% 1 goal difference, 10% penalty shootout. I played against an Elite Division team in the last game. I want to report a bug – this matchmaking does not work! I lost and got stronger opponents than before. There must be a mistake! This is a serious complaint, so please check this. We also need a counter that shows the points.
The system in friendlies is based on performance: it gives a +1 for a win, -1 for a loss, and 0 when quitting. I remember 2 years ago when they introduced a counter in FUT Champs—it was incorrect every week until they finally fixed it. I think the same thing happened here because if you lose 30 matches in a cup game, you shouldn't be getting elite players! They should display the performance counter to visualize your standing and that of your opponent to ensure you're playing against someone at a similar level.
It's not a bug, it's how EA wants the Matchmaking to be like. No coincidence here. Im also in Division 3 and faced several opponents from Elite Division. Easy to detect when they rock the Elite Banner. Just pathetic, but then again, it's not a bug, it's the system.
