Upgrade account

Dear EA Support,

I’m contacting you on behalf of my son, who is trying to upgrade his EA account to a teen account using his own email address.

We created an EA account under the name Jules_Masteride, using the email address [edit: email address removed]. However, when attempting to complete the upgrade process on the PlayStation (EA Sports FC24), we receive the message "this email already exists", which prevents him from proceeding.

We assume this is because the email was previously linked to an older child account or used in the past during the setup with parental controls.

We kindly ask for your help to:

  • Clear or reset the current link for [edit: email address removed], so that we can finalize the upgrade process for Jules_Masteride as a teen account.
  • Confirm whether this email can be used for his EA login going forward without conflicts.

Additionally, we noticed that the PlayStation profile Legend_Jules_10 is currently linked to another EA account (MasterWalterIde). If possible, we would eventually like to move that PSN link to Jules_Masteride, but this is not the main issue for now.

We mainly want to ensure that my son can use his own EA account and email address without restrictions.
