Huge FPS drops and high temperature on Galaxy S25 Plus
Hello EA Support Team, I am writing to report a critical optimization issue and a potential severe memory leak in FC Mobile that makes the game completely unplayable on high-end flagship devices. Device Specifications: Device: Samsung Galaxy S25+ Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite (Oryon CPU architecture) OS: Android 16 The Problem: I run the game on Medium settings, yet randomly during matches, the device starts overheating drastically. The temperature rises by approximately 1°C every 10 seconds until it reaches 50°C. Simultaneously, the frame rate drops by 10 FPS every few seconds until the game completely chugs down to 1 FPS. This intense thermal throttling happens out of nowhere and completely freezes the device. Proof of Poor Optimization: This is strictly an issue with FC Mobile's optimization for the new Snapdragon 8 Elite architecture. To test my hardware, I run heavy, next-gen graphical games like Racing Master on absolute maximum settings for hours; the game runs flawlessly at a stable frame rate, and the device temperature never exceeds 35°C. The issue in FC Mobile is likely a major memory leak or an unoptimized CPU thread utilization that overloads a single core, causing immediate thermal panic on the system level. I need to know if others are experiencing this because right now Pro Clubs is basically broken for us. Last time i played smoothly around Jan 8, 2026, we’re getting massive input delay (4–5 seconds) in Pro Clubs, but only under specific conditions. What’s happening: When the match reaches 14+ players, gameplay becomes delayed If any substitution happens, delay instantly kicks in or gets worse Delay affects everything (movement, passing, shooting) Feels like playing several seconds behind real time What’s normal: Matches with under 14 players are completely smooth Drop-ins or smaller lobbies have no issues My setup is wired and stable, no lag in other modes Easy way to test: Play a match with 13 or fewer players → smooth Play with 14+ players → delay starts Do a substitution → delay gets worse immediately Important details: Platform: PC Region: Asia Happens in League and Friendlies Only occurs in Pro Clubs and depends on player count If multiple people confirm the same 14-player threshold, this is likely a server or update issue, not individual setups. Hey guys, I'm having trouble with my Ultimate Team mode constantly disconnecting me. I get the message "Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online, and try again. Please see ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information". This happens both during SBCs and during gameplay. Sometimes I'll manage to play a full match, only to be disconnected within the 5 or 85 minutes of the next match. What I've already tested: - I deleted the AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26 directory; - I verified the game files; - I disabled all additional programs; - I checked my connection quality, and according to https://help.ea.com/pl/help-tools/ea-connection-report/, my score is 98/100; - The date on the computer is set automatically. The internet at home works fine - speed test shows a stable 300Mbps, connected via cable, router restarted several times, DNS settings set to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (the problem persisted without DNS settings). I applied an Evolution to a player in FC 26 and later used the “remove evolution” option. After doing this, I am no longer able to reapply the same Evolution to the same player, even though I had already started it. OVER 2 DAYS SINCE THIS POST AND NOTHINGS CHANGED!! SOON TO BE 3 DAYS. SORT IT OUT EA!!! A new morning a still no fix from EA. How are people supposed to finish the objectives if you don’t give them their rewards. Surely with over 12 hours to fix the issue it could’ve been done by at least giving everyone their Tim Cahill card just to finish off the Asia and Oceania challenge. I think we should have a new player career labelled referee career where we would be able to go to the bar board give red cards, yellow cards free kicks, penalties, let the game continue, advantage etc This would be very fun as it could also give you a game rating depending on if you make a good decision. It cannot be abused or anything else and would give more variety for what people could play and also make it way more fun. I hope you take this thought and do think about including this in fc27 or fc28. Lots of people would agree with me and think you shoulf add this as I’ve seen a cool video which uses a mod to do it and then looked it up to play it and saw this forum seeing people asking for this career. Summary of the Issue: When attempting to transfer a player from one club to another, the player is successfully added to the new destination club, but they are not removed from their original club. This creates a permanent duplicate/clone in the squad database. Why this happens: This bug is highly triggered by players who are linked to multiple squad layers simultaneously, such as National Teams or special "XI" Ghost Squads However, since Title Update 1.6.0, it has also started affecting regular players without any "XI" labels. Impact: This completely breaks custom squad editing, corrupts roster files, and causes the game to crash when attempting to start a Kick-Off match or save squads with these duplicated player IDs.
