“Squad Battles bug: progress lost when working on 300 assists objective”

I’m experiencing an issue in EA Sports FC 26 with one of the objectives. There’s an objective that requires giving 300 assists. I’ve been trying to complete this in Squad Battles.

The problem: whenever I get more than 30 assists in a single match, I receive the following error message: “The EA servers are unable to process your request at the moment. Please try again later.” After that, I’m immediately kicked out of Ultimate Team and lose all progress from the match.

I’ve already restarted both my console and internet connection, but the issue keeps happening. It seems to be a bug in the game or the servers.
