Career Mode bug – wrong Belgian teams qualify for Europe

Hi everyone,

I’m playing Career Mode in EA Sports FC 26 with Anderlecht. I won the Belgian Pro League, so naturally my team should be in the Champions League the following season.

But something strange happens: every season it’s newly promoted teams like La Louvière and Zulte Waregem that play in the Champions League, and Dender ends up in the Europa League, while my champion team (Anderlecht) doesn’t get any European football at all. It looks like the game is assigning European spots incorrectly in Belgium. This keeps happening every season, no matter my results or whether I use Deeper Simulation or not.

My questions:

Has anyone else seen this bug in the Belgian league?

Is there a fix or workaround?

Or is this simply something EA needs to patch?
