Feature Proposal: Player Career Mode
To the EA Sports FC Development Team,
I would like to formally propose a new feature for the Player Career Mode: the ability to export and migrate player progress between annual releases (e.g., from FC26 to FC27).
The Concept:
Currently, players must start their career from scratch every year, which creates a sense of lost investment. I propose a system where users can "import" their existing Pro from the previous title. This would include:
- Attributes & OVR: Carrying over the current rating and skill points.
- Player History: Maintaining the narrative of the career (previous clubs, goals, and trophies).
- Visual Identity: Keeping the same customized face and physical build.
Why this matters:
This feature would allow a seamless transition into the new season's updated kits, rosters, and league structures without losing the emotional connection to a player we have developed for hundreds of hours. It rewards long-term engagement and treats the FC franchise as a continuous football journey rather than a disconnected annual reset.
I believe this "Quality of Life" improvement would be highly celebrated by the Career Mode community and would increase the value of purchasing the new title for dedicated players.
Best regards,
A dedicated FC Player
