I've been having the same issue where Ultimate Team doesn't connect on the first attempt, and I have to retry multiple times before it finally logs in. It feels like a server-side delay or matchmaking issue. Restarting the game sometimes helps, but the problem is still inconsistent and frustrating when trying to get into matches. Hopefully EA can improve server stability soon because it really affects the overall experience.
