Crash issue on FC26 PC – Game unplayable
Hello,
I’m facing a recurring issue with FC26 on PC:
- The game freezes and my entire PC becomes unresponsive.
- After a few dozen seconds, the game eventually crashes.
- On EA App, it shows “No connection”. One second later, everything goes back to normal.
This seems only happens on Ultimate Team, making the game completely unplayable.
Some important details:
- I was able to play three matches in a row without any issue one evening between 8–9 PM (Montreal time).
- The next morning, the issue came back: I can’t play a single match without the game crashing.
- I never had this problem on FC25.
- All my other PC games run perfectly fine.
- It’s not related to my internet connection, since I tested both on Wi-Fi and through 5G mobile tethering with the exact same result.
From what I’ve seen, there seem to be many reports this year about crashes and controller issues on PC. Please look into this, because right now the game is unplayable.
UPDATE : same problem in kick-off (offline mode) -> my pc restart after 1min in game. So this is not a network problem

- Platform: PC
- When and where is the game crashing? In any mode (online or offline), this happens after a few seconds and sometimes after a few minutes in a match.
- Any error message: No message, just a big freeze and my PC stops responding (for example: I can’t change the volume, brightness, etc...). I have to spam keys like ALT+F4 for the game to close and for the PC to come back to life.
