Can madden please stop helping bad players?
If I have my opponent completely fooled, ie running to the other side of the field out of alignment while I got a play called to the opposite side, the play shouldn’t be getting blown up by some rand...

@DaDonBeastYou have to attack the screen . User someone on the running back side pre snap. Screens are typically ran out of gun. So just user a zone flat defender(cover 2 light blue) , a blitzing slot cornerback, a blitzing safety etc. You also have to know tendencies. Typically what players will do is they’ll run it one time if they have success they will spam it. A defensive end will work as well.
Last years madden and the previous madden I WOULD CLICK ON TO THE CLOSEST DEFENDER, RETRACE MY STEPS (like you do in real football!) AND DISRUPT THE SCREEN PLAY. Now it seems like I click on to anybody but the closest defender. In REAL FOOTBALL if you realize it’s a screen play you don’t continue to rush to QB you retrace your steps it will always lead you to the ball. I know it’s a screen off rip cuz how the lineman move no calling a flat zone or cb blitz isn’t how you defend it. They want to even the playing field for crappy players they need to do better
@DaDonBeastThe key is to attack the screen doesn’t matter too much which defender. When I say attack the screen I am saying get players over to screen side. The rest of the stuff I was saying is when your opponent is constantly doing screen plays. I have no issues stopping the screen . I even pick off the screen play for touchdowns.
I see what you saying toogle thru the players try to run them over there. In previous maddens I always pick them off too hell in real life when I played football I would disrupt them it’s so easy to read. This year it seem like something changed it’s not allowing me to user the player closest to the QB anymore when I realize it’s screen
