Cannot Edit SS/XFactor Abilities

I cannot edit my superstar/X-factor abilities for my online madden franchise. The other players are having the same issue. We're in year 2, week 12 or 13 and when you go to the play card and tab over it does not allow you to press A/X to select and change. Does anyone know how to fix this? My other solo franchises don't have this same issue.
