Can't use Companian App for PC account

When I click on MUT in the Companion app I get an error pop up saying "OOPS, SOMETHING WENT WRONG." However this only happens with my PC account but when I switch to my PS5 account it works and lets ...

Yes I have the PC version on Steam through the EA Play membership.
