    HI @frreewillyyyyy To confirm pre-order items should be appearing, we currently have a thread discussing this (with updates) here. 

    However, please note if you have other items like purchased in-game packs, twitch drops, etc those items are not intended to transfer over from one generation to the next. 

    For more information on duel entitlement check out our FAQ. 

    What content will carry over if I upgrade to a next generation console?

    No content or progression from Franchise modes, Face of the Franchise, the Yard, or Madden Ultimate Team™ will carry over between console generations using Dual Entitlement, owing to gameplay differences between Xbox One/PS4 versions and Xbox Series X|S/PS5 versions. Please note that Superstar: The League and Superstar: Showdown are not available on PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. The Yard and Face of the Franchise are not available on PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X|S versions of the game.

    If you upgrade to Xbox Series X|S or PS5, any content or progression that does not carry over from the previous version will still be available in your Xbox One or PS4 version. You can still access this content when you play the Xbox One or PS4 version of the game as long as you are playing this version on your Xbox One or PS4 console. If you play the Xbox One of PS4 version on your Xbox Series X|S or Gen 5 machine, the content will not transfer.

The problem I have with this is that very little effort was made by EA to notify us including zero in game messaging. Its a huge change.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, the icons were identical so there was no way to tell which version of the game you were playing. If a major change is made by EA and now the version of the game you choose to play matters for the first time ever, the version of the game should be clearly labeled. In years past the S and X symbols were on the icons and it was obvious. At time of launch , those symbols were not present and people had no idea what version they were playing. The icons have now been updated and clearly labeled which screams to me that EA knows of this.

Had I known what version of the game i was in, i would not have spent points on content for the old version.

Combine that with the fact that the only version of the game that was working at time of launch was the old gen version and you now have a situation where EA lead its consumers down a path that resulted in hundreds and hundreds of wasted dollars on points and content that will never be used.

    Yea it's rough. The only I noticed to know is that the next gen has superstar vs face of franchise game mode.

    This is insane…. There was no way to tell a difference and everyone mistakenly did this. How insane. I’m infuriated when it is stuff we paid for. No one is trying to get a free handout
