@Dshow27 It's been a long time since the defensive switch ended up on the player closest to the ball... it's the "best located" defender now... that doesn't necessarily mean the closest defender, but in a few cases it does.That said, the as the swtich algorithm changes, you'll find this tip indispensible on defense.
I used to expect the cursor to give me control of a particular player and would be ready to move the sticks with that player in mind. That's a disaster when the AI switches to a different guy.

The end of this is just admitting the game is worse and you have to play slower and just accept it’s worse in the moment everytime, I’d rather just play a good game lol
