Franchise - backups playing instead of starters

So what’s going on is in about week 18 or playoffs in my madden franchise the game auto brings in all my bench players and there is no possible way around it my starters can’t start and stay in the game. It’s a glitch and I’ve messed with auto subs and fatigue and it dosent do anything it’s been a problem for a long time now and it’s making the game unplayable and not enjoyable for me so EA please fix this
