Franchise NEEDS attention for ONCE
In this years version of madden EA and their developers promised to deliver their "make or break" game and that they were going to be "heavily focusing on franchise mode" This game has proved nothing even remotely close to that statement.
All we were given was a couple additional trade slots and restructured contracts.
We asked for create a team, instead we get a bunch of new generic teams... ALL teams have the same font, and multiple teams have the same uniform layouts.
The sidelines stil look HORRIBLE. They are stale and have 0 life to them. They still have generic and distorted player models, no coordinators, or any sort of authentic feel to them. Players should be seen warming up, seeing medical professionals, engaging with teammates and coaches, wearing the proper gear on the sidelines in the cold, etc.
We get 0 new stadiums. The stadiums have been copied and pasted AGAIN. These stadiums are generic and give 0 authenticity to the team. There is no stadium builder or customization what so ever.
In the Beta they had a face editor for draft classes which would of added a HUGE amount of immersion and authenticity. Nobody wants these generic face scans that we have had for at LEAST 5 years. Many have poorly textured, PS2 looking textures, misplaced hair and overall poorly constructed faces. MANY dont fit properly with mouth guards or in helmets. Draft classes and create a player have been broken since launch.
There are TONS of missing equipment options and combinations (mutiple sleevs on one arm for example) that I have made MANY posts about that makes character customization minimal and stale, and also makes the real players look nothing like they do on gameday except for the name on the jersey. Cold sleeve temp was removed taking all the immersion out of snow/winter games. Let's not forget that the pants on the "new" player models still are covering the knees.
TATTOOS!!!!!!! Even just for the created players if licensing is an issue!
In many of the reviews that came out pre-launch, they said how many fans are unhappy and that "
EA's presentation of major seasonal events like the Super Bowl and NFL Draft have also seen poor feedback from fans" What do we get in return? The SAME recycled, unauthentic super bowl AGAIN, the SAME draft layout again that just cycles through face scans when drafted adding 0 authenticity and draft atmosphere. There is STILL no presentation for AFC/NFC championship games. Look back at Madden 11 etc and see how much this company has let the presentation decline. Pregame, halftime, postgame also need HUGE improvements. Again that I have made MANY posts about in depth
Crowd celebations were taken out, there is 0 engagement with fans.
Somebody at EA needs to take a good hard look at this and honestly probably should take a look at NBA2k's franchise mode and see how to make a fun and immersive game mode that gives true NFL authentic vibes.
