How Are You Celebrating National Video Games Day on September 12th?

Hi everyone!

Did you know that the first video game was released more than six decades ago? On our side, we have an extensive and fascinating history that extends over 40 years. So many memories, stories, and anecdotes that we wouldn't mean anything without our community. So, what better way to celebrate National Video Games Day than here with you guys? 

 

For all of us here, video games are much more than simply entertainment; they connect us with friends and family, teach us lessons, inspire us to develop our creativity, challenge us to learn new abilities/skills, and show the value of working together as a team. There is always a game for everyone, no matter their age, culture, or style; in fact, it has become a way of life for many of us (tell me about it 😅).

 

What are the best moments you've had with the Madden NFL series? Do you still remember a clutch play you pulled off? Did you and your friends stay up way too late talking smack, always asking for one more rematch? Did you take a losing team all the way to an NFL championship? 

 

Whether with company or solo, I think it's always a good time to celebrate. Do you have anything planned?

    I will be playing Madden of course, with some NBA 2k24 mixed in. My favorite Madden memory is years ago, a bunch of my friends would come over to my house on Fridays and Saturdays around 6 or 7 PM. We would play a combination of Madden and NCAA Football until 5 or 6 am the next day. We had so much fun because we all loved football and video games.  Good food, great games, and great memories. Sometimes when I think about it, I really miss those crazy weekends.

    I'd love to be playing Madden 24 right now. But your dev team released one of the most broken PC versions in the history of gaming. The majority of us have 0% GPU usage, 100% CPU with never-ending crashes and freezes. It's almost been a month and there's not even an acknowledgment of this being worked on. To call this an embarrassment would be an understatement. Don't hit me with the "this isn't the topic to share this" either, since we're being collectively ignored wherever we post this.

    Im not, this was the 1st year I didn't buy Madden. Feels pretty good. Im moving on from it until we get serious changes!! Just wait for GTA 6
