Well thought out and great post.  Normally I focus more on game play issues and things like play calling AI, custom playbooks, custom plays... but you are spot on and they should be able to do both things.  The worst thing to happen to Madden Football was the NFL exclusive license.  Killed any need for improvement.

    @stahlherzog i don't understand why they cant do both things... like look at 2k or any of these other games. Madden is miles behind all of them. sad thing is ive made these long posts for years to only see these features get slimmer each year

      @xPats4Lifex Madden cares too much about ultimate team instead of franchise mode.

      In fact, in the new "MOST FEARED" update they put ultimate team as the first mode instead of your recently played. Insanely predatory behavior from EA to try to get you to pay your money on cards that you can't even bring over to other future maddens.

        @ee6bi18t93yt what blows my mind is that every other sports game has their own version of ultimate team. 2k, EA FC, The Show etc all get love and depth on their other game modes. Madden is the ONLY sports game that gives 0 attention to the game besides MUT. I think Madden should stick to making Madden mobile and hand over rights to a new company that will give people that don't play MUT a good experience for the first time in a decade.
