Is there a way to have a player play both sides of the ball?

For example in franchise mode I downloaded a draft class with Travis Hunter from * who plays both offense and defense in college. This thing is not entirely unheard of so i'm wondering if there is some special way to enable this for certain players or if madden devs just don't give a * (with all due respect). Furthermore, is there a way to play say a WR at RB? When in the depth chart for some positions (including MLB on defense) this is essentially impossible.
