Madden 24 online franchise; players disappear mid game, then desync occurs

I assume this is an issue with a custom playbook? I’ve deleted the playbooks and now my play calling screen bugs and can’t choose a formation or play. Then when I do pick a play if I audible they all end up gathering around the ball. Then it desync’s a few plays later. How can this be fixed? Why do custom playbooks suck? Why is ea *?
