EA American Football Teamguys... a quick little update would be nice.
*** POSSIBLE FIX/WORKAROUND ***
I can't speak for everyone and it may not work for you, but I had the exact problem of my game freezing in loading screens or freezing right after snapping the ball/after kickoff. My PC meets the requirements easily. I changed these settings and it's working with consistency, I can actually play the game and it has not crashed since:
- Change FPS lock to 30, NOT 60, NOT Auto 30/60. (I know it sucks, but if EA isn't going to fix it then it's better than nothing)
- Change resolution to the lowest one. For me it was 1260x720
- I haven't tried full-screen. It's working for me in borderless window and windowed mode.
- Lower all other graphics settings as low as they go, disable all toggleable graphics settings
I am also running the game and EA Play as an administrator, I'm not sure if this matters. **Please spread the word as much as you can if this works for you. I'll be doing the same.**
@Rare459 just tried it but didn't work thanks for trying to give us a fix though more than ea has done
@LPRisgoat @athenic01 I also turned V Sync off, maybe try windowed mode and use your mouse to drag the window from the corner to make it as small as you can. Funny enough, after this patch today I now have audio issues and my game is crashing a lot, when it wasn't at all before. Thanks EA
