MUT Draft - What Happened?

MUT Draft has always been one of my favorite game modes within Madden Ultimate Team. It was a fun way to test out new cards before buying them, and allowed you to create a crazy new squad every run. I think the rewards system itself is fine, with a good amount of coins and/or premium pack rewards after several wins.

The issue is the mode has been completely neglected and not updated since the start of the year! Tell me why there are tons of cards 90+ out in MUT, as high as 97, and the highest card you can get in MUT Draft is still a core elite 86-87. There are ZERO promo cards in the draft pool outside of the Headliners from launch (87 rhamondre, kam curl, etc), It surely would not be hard for the Madden Dev team to sprinkle in cards from the prior season to the draft pool. I'm not saying we need all the 96-97s in it, but at least some of the new cards would be nice. 

What was once a beloved mode, is now a neglected, slow, and lifeless game.

Hoping there is still time for the Madden Devs to turn a corner on this! Let me know if you feel the same, or if anyone knows why they've completely ignored updating it.
